Keynotes on making schools magical again

Every keynote is built to change something on Monday morning: a habit, a system, or the way a team treats the people they serve.
Technology is only as powerful as the trust behind it. Evan’s talks put people first and leave audiences more connected to each other.
For students, staff, families, and colleagues. Presence is a choice we make every day, especially when no one is watching.
“Every hallway is Main Street. Every person who walks in is a guest. Every day is opening day.”
His friends say it best: Evan is the person who will always show up. That is exactly what he brings to your stage.
Evan cares deeply about students, staff, and families, and audiences can feel it from the first minute.
Fast-paced, funny, and full of stories. Rooms lean in, laugh, and leave fired up to try something new.
More than 20 years leading K-12 technology, from district cabinets to national stages, plus a career start in Major League Baseball media relations.
Psst. Move your mouse around, or tap anywhere. Every day deserves a few fireworks.
New sessions around the country are being added. Want your event on this list?

What if every hallway felt like Main Street and every family felt like a welcomed guest? Evan translates the service standards behind the world’s most famous guest experiences into everyday habits for schools, so every bus driver, teacher, and leader knows they are part of the show.

Evan is a featured New Jersey speaker on building AI agent teams. He shows administrators how he built his own team of named AI assistants, each with a role and a job to do, and how they give leaders hours back every week.
AI usually gets blamed for more screen time. Evan flips the script and shows teams how the right AI habits cut busywork, shrink time at the keyboard, and put educators back in front of students.
Most districts own more technology than they use well. Evan shows leadership teams how to read usage data, spot the trends that matter, and turn insight into smarter decisions that enhance teaching and learning.
A practical, heartfelt look at how technology and AI can support students with disabilities and the staff who serve them, from access and communication to independence and confidence.
Delivered as the opening keynote at the RTM K-12 East Education Congress and East CIO Congress. Leadership is not what you do on stage. It is how you show up in the moments no one sees.
Also co-presented: Action Figures & Algorithms: Designing the Future of Curriculum Leadership with Dr. Derek Tranchina.

Ask anyone who knows Evan and they will tell you the same thing: he always shows up. The passion, the energy, and more than 20 years of K-12 leadership come with him to every stage.
He started his career in Media Relations for the St. Louis Cardinals, where he learned how to tell a story, connect with a crowd, and perform under the bright lights. He brought that same energy to public education, where he has led district technology, innovation, and AI adoption.
As Director of Innovation and Technology at the Morris-Union Jointure Commission, Evan was named a 2025 Education Week National Leader To Learn From. He has delivered keynotes and featured sessions at ISTE, EdTech Week, Bridges, Techspo, and the New Jersey School Boards Association, and he is an official Bett Builder. In New Jersey he is a go-to voice on building AI agent teams for school administrators. Today he leads educational technology for a New Jersey school district and founded EdTech Consulting LLC.
Featured on the cover of the February 12, 2025 issue for expertise in education technology.

Some of the best lessons in service come from places built to make every guest feel welcome. Evan studies how world-class guest experiences are designed and brings those ideas home to schools.
Every engagement is built around your district. Evan can follow the keynote by meeting with staff in focused groups, so the ideas turn into action in every corner of your schools.
